I am only a few days behind you, but from what I have read this is totally normal. You haven't had a fill yet, right? Anything we lose between now and the first fill is a bonus. It is only after we have our fills and our restriction that the band is doing its job. Hang in there...

The first 6 weeks are for healing and healing only. You shouldn't even worry about weight loss, just getting everything all healed up and ready for a fill. Your right, everything lost now is just bonus. Just be patient.

Everybody sing (in Meatloaf voice) "You took the words right outta my mouth!"

Normal, normal, normal, normal, normal, normal, normal.

Got it? NORMAL!

What's not normal is 26 lbs in 9 days!! That's three months' worth of loss right there; if you don't lose another ounce until next year you'll still be ahead of the game.

Congratulations on your banding!!

I am so happy for you, wish I could say the same for me. Had mine done 02/08/2008 and have only lost 14.5 lbs. in all these months, am hoping another fill will help me along...keep up the good work!

Sadie this person posted back in 2006. God only knows where they are, or how they've done since then.
