Who else was Dec 3?!

I had my surgery this past Monday. I am at home recovering with two very little children (7mo and 2yrs). I am working really hard and am getting all my water and protein in. So far, my only side effects are pain still in the big incision, nausea (gone now) and bad constipation. It is a wonderful feeling though to not be hungry all the time anymore!!!! How about you guys?! Successes?? Setbacks?? Just wanted to see how everyone else was doing with their new sleeve. :)

I was sleeved Dec 3rd n I feel awesome! Just get a little tired now n then buy basically I'm going wonderfully! :)

I too was sleeved on Dec 3rd. Feeling great, still tire easily, but gets better every day. How are you doing? I'm in the mushy food stage and AMAZED at how little food makes me full. Best thing ever - no more diabetes meds and HBP meds down to 1/2 a pill per day!! Looking forward to this journey, feels like an adventure.

Hi! I was sleeved on Dec. 3rd. I go for my two week follow up tomorrow. Anxious to see what foods they will allow me to start. So tired of the liquid diet! I cheated and had mashed potatoes and gravy yesterday! Its been hard to get the protein in...trying to get fluids in continually...so ready for some baked fish or MEAT!!! I know I won't be able to eat much, but a bite every hour...oh yeah! I have lost 16 pounds since the surgery, in two weeks. I lost 15 on the pre op diet (two weeks). (and I lost 16 prior to that-a little over six weeks) So I have a total loss of 47 pounds since Oct. 13th. I had my first non weight loss ta da moment yesterday! Realized that I had room between me and the steering wheel!, almost gotta move the seat up! AND between my keys and my cell phone, my pants almost fell down! :D

Dec 3 here. Lost 15 PDs the first week and none this week lol Wth? Anyway I'm ok with that. Still on liquids though or another week:/

Hi I'm also a Dec 3 sleever. I went for my post op today. Lost 16 lbs. I actually felt disappointed--I guess I'm unrealistic. Maybe if I walked more like I was supposed to. The doctor said it was good. Now I got to pureed foods for a week and then regular. I'm a little scared but anxious to get beyond just shakes and clear liquids.
