Total Calories?

Question for all of you a post-oppers... what does your nutritionist recommend for total calorie intake? I am not so worried about the first few months - I am under the impression that you couldn't take in a lot of calories even if you tried. But in the active losing phase, what are the total calories you strive for in day? What about in maintenance mode?

Thanks for any info you can give!!

For me it's not about the calories (although I stay under 800 a day), but about getting at least 60 grams of protein a day.

How far out from surgery are you? I too am well below 800 calories and am trying to get my protein and liquids in. Do well with protein but not as well on the liquids.

I have been wondering how many calories myself. I had my surgery on November 12th. I am lucky if I get in 400 calories. Sometimes it's not even close to 400. I am still having a problem getting in all my liquids and balancing eating. Some days I feel very discouraged and frustrated. Never did I think there would be a day I'd say I'm not eating enough.

I had my sleeve on 10/10. I have no problem with liquids now, and I have a Protein Bar (20 grams) for Breakfast every morning and that really helps with upping my protein levels.
