Does Anyone Make Yogurt @ Home?

I just bought a Euro Cuisine Automatic Yogurt maker. I have read, that Greek Yogurt has more protein in it than regular yogurt. Does anyone know how I can make Greek yogurt????? The yogurt maker I bought doesn't really have any recipes to help me. Im new at this so im not even sure how to figure out the nutrition info like calories, carbs, protein, etc. once I make it. If anyone can please help me out with this I would be forever thankful. Thanks in advance for reading my post.

I tried to figure it out as well. The only thing that I found online was that after making the yogurt you were to let it strain in a cheese cloth to concentrate it. Not sure if it works or how it would increase the protein content. I gave up and just bought the commercial greek yogurts. Hope you find what you are looking for. I enjoyed home made yogurt but wanted the increased protein of greek.

Greek is just the concentrated form,, so when you strain home made yogurt the concentrated protein

will be left in the cloth after the watery part is strained away, hence more protein. My Nut said, home made yogurt is as good -- infact better, because we can make plain yogurt & mix whatever we wish to have with it at that very moment - wether its vanilla; fruit extract or just pepper.
