Thank you!!!

That's AWESOME that you're losing wt now. The doctors like to see that because it gives them a sense that you're serious about wls. I could have had my surgery sooner, but I had gained wt over Christmas and New yrs. I went from 316 to 322. And that's when I told myself that its now or never and starting on Jan 3rd I went from 322 to 287 on the day of surgery 4/9/13 and today I'm at 256 with a goal of 235 by 7/10/13 at my 3mos post-op appt. Each time I challenge myself...it gets easier by the day, but some days I just can't get anything down so I pray and slowly my appetite starts to come back. You'll see when you're on the other side that each individual is unique in their own way with wls.

I've lost a total of 66lbs...35lbs preop and 31lbs postop.

Awesome progress!!!

Thank you! Going to start going on walks with my Great Dane and kids a s hot the treadmill in the mornings

Hi Kimi...how are? Its been so long...how is your progress coming along? Recovery was amazingly easier than I thought.

@Jessica anything and everything counts! I try not to over do it because exercising take a lot from us because we're consuming so little at a time. So its a learning process for me to take it easy both in exercising and eating lol. My eyes and mouth are way too big for my little tummy at times, but slowly we'll all get the hang of it.

:D

I have been doing good. Progress has been pretty steady. Surgery was 3 months ago, I'm down 30 lbs since. 50 lbs total. I think the only struggle I have now is taking my vitamins. I keep them on my desk at work and still forget to take them! LOL! I have the memory of an old lady!

How have you been doing???

One month post-op appointment: down 26 pounds! Total loss of 67 pounds since last year.

HW: 313, SW: 272, CW: 246

Next goal set by surgeon: 56 more pounds in 5 months. Whew, hope I can do it.

Hahaha Lana what kind? We just adopted our harlequin 157 lbs boy! He's almost 3 !

Click on the arrow in the upper right corner (like you do when you are responding to someone's post), there is a "+" sign to left of the send button... Click on that and you will see where to upload your pic. ;)

I've been doing good...I think I have one of those "sleeve of steel" I can tolerate anything. I love icy cold drinks, hot tea and spicy stuff. The problem I'm having is slowing down...I tend to eat way too fast and that's when I get in trouble. I'm having problems with my multi and calcium pills, they're way to big and I hate the after taste, so for now I'm taking calcium chewy bites and I need to find an alternative to my multi. My tummy just don't like them lol. I've lost a total of 66lbs (35 preop & 31 post-op). I never know how I'm going to feel the next day which is strange, but I guess this too shall pass. I'm slowly gaining my energy back as the days go by. I love my sleeve except for the days where I just want to bury my face in Chinese food LOL.
