FINALLY!!!!! :D Surgery is set for April 9th and pre-op appt is next week 3/21...finally met my surgeon's wt goal on Friday and 4wks away from surgery. Not as nervous and scared as I thought. Maybe as I get closer I'll start feeling it. I can finall chill and get things into perspective as I patiently wait for April 9th.

Lota,

Congrats. I'm sure its been tedious with the pre specialists appointments.

I currently am going through my specialists before My appointment with my surgeon Dr. Harai

My surgery would be done in San Jose.

Hi Snap...thank you and yes it was a pain lol but I stuck to my guns and carried on and here I am 4 wks away from surgery. And I didn't even use diet pills (which were my weakness). I'm having mine done at Kaiser in Fremont with Dr Chu.

I'm a patient of Dr. Richard Nguyen also. I finished all my appointments and got all my clearances. :D I'm scheduled to meet with him on April 4th to set a date for my surgery. My surgery will also be at Good Sam. I'm very nervous and still feel very unprepared for this major change that's gonna happen. Any thoughts, or advice you guys can give me would GREATLY be appreciated.

Thanks

Ya know...I was supposed to see Dr. Nyguen also but to my surprise Dr. Harai walked in the door. I'm surprised I didn't ask more questions but then again I'm at the mercy of a new doctor and a nervous experience of a volentary surgery. :(

his office sent me a letter last week about the move i assumed since he was my surgeon i would have went where he went. But today i got a letter from my insurance approving my april 4th visit with the new Dr. My insurance is anthem blue cross medi-cal. I dont know why they didnt inform me.

I don't know if its cause I'm on medi-cal or what but since i first started this i have been given very little information about anything infact the only thing I've been given was appointment slips. My aunt had the r n y surgery done in san francisco through kaiser and she was givin a binder packed with info! What's up with that?

Hello from a VERY small town past Turlock California called Delhi. I had my surgery in Fresno, Ca. on December 19th 2011.
