:D Thanks Anna,

Well im now DONE.

And the after affects are worse than i thought,

Although like all of you the pain and suffering is only temporary and ill soon forget about it.

I cant believe how bloated i am and distorted .its pokes out to the left of my body. And like most of you its very bruised.

Any way ill talk more later as i get more energy.

Thanks Mark.:phanvan

Hi Mark, hope you are not feeling too poorly for too long. I will be having my op in January during my down time from work. Good on you for taking this step. I wish you lots of success. Susannah

Welcome to bandland Mark!

Sorry to hear your recovery is being a little slow, but you will feel better before you know where you are. The first week after surgery was quite a shock to me too, although I had thought that I was well prepared as to what to expect. I think my stomach put on an extra 3 or 4kgs of Fluid right after surgery - I felt like I had to carry it around! hehehe! It will soon go away - mine went down after about 5 days, and already has shrunk further (now there's quite a gap between it and the steering wheel, whihc wasn't there before! hehehe!).

Looking forward to meeting you next week at Bandworks - I hope that you are feeling up to coming along by then.

Cheers!

Anna.
