Body By Vi Shakes

Has anyone done the Vi shakes post op? I was considering it, not before I consult my doc first though. I was just wondering if anyone has tried it. I want to do it because I would be getting the nutrition that i need. It would be great for me with the busy lifestyle I have.

Let me know! I'm

Curious too!

me too :)

I'm curious as well what you find out. I like the body by vi shakes. I haven't done them post op because I think the carbs are too high, the protein too low for the calories. There are better "shake" options out there. They just don't taste as good lol.

I did a diet awhile back here called ideal protein. I still have a bunch of their product left, Soups, bars, Jello, pudding. I wonder if I could use that. Just compare the nutritional info I guess? My date isint until dec 3. But I'm trying to prepare. So far the consensus is 60+ grams of protein, 8 cups of Water.... What is the suggested carb , fat, and sugar intake in a day that you guys try to go by?

It would be hard to hit the 60 grams of Protein but in the research I've done on protein we are only using a fraction of what we eat. The Vi shakes have all usable protein. I don't know if will do it because it is kind of pricy but I was looking for an option to make it easier to get the nutrition that I need. I never have room for anything but protein. I'll keep you informed after I consult my nut and if I decide to do it. The shakes are delicious!

Also, it has a lot of Fiber which is something I really need. I suffer from constipation so bad since I've had surgery - and I had IBS.

I drink them daily. Let me know if you need some.
