Severe Pain

Question for anyone. I am five months out from surgery. Having severe stomach pain feels like some is stabing me with hot knife. Worse when I try to eat and drink. Has anyone every experienced this?

that doesn't sound right at all I heard leaks can happen further out sometimes, I would get on the phone and call at least the nurse or get an appointment to see my surgeon ... better safe than sorry

sounds like gallstones. have that checked out ASAP.

Maybe its you gall bladder. I would get it checked out ASAP. Good luck!

Thanks all. I don't have gallbladder or appendix. I called dr and they are doing ctscan in the morning.

Well had test today. Good news no leak. Ctscan did reveal lesions on kidney and liver but not source of pain. Next steps MRI tomorrow and they want to do EGD to see if ulcer.
