Yogurt Maker?

Had a customer tell me her daughter bought a Yogurt Maker after her surgery and loves it. She has never sampled the finished product, but says her daughter loves it and uses it all the time. Has anyone here bought one? If so what are your thoughts on making your own yogurt??

I've never used a yogurt maker but I did use a crock pot once. It came out more like keifer. I tried straining it as per the instructions but ended up with a milk bath. An actual yogurt maker might be better but if you wanna try the crock pot, I found all kinds of directions on Google.
