Weight Gain Before Surgery

I am getting sleeved on Jan 17. I started this whole process back in August and I have probably gained 10 pounds since then. My eating has been out of control. I know this may sound strange but I think I am going through some kind of grieving process for the food that I won't be able to have after the surgery. Has this happened to anyone else? Well, now that I have gotten all the hoops out of the way I hope that I can buckle down and at least lose that extra 10.

I have my surgery in December and I feel like I have been doing the same thing. I know I shouldn't think this way, but I feel like I will never be able to eat this stuff again so I am doing it now. I also have a low BMI and this is no excuse but if I go below 172 I will not be able to have my surgery. I plan to stop the madness starting in November and no wine either (I really like my Merlot). Hang in there it will all stop before you have surgery. Until then enjoy a little cake!
