**help**

Hi there! I am 3 months pre-op. I am still having an issue and I need some suggestions. I LOVE to drink while eating and I have been working on it and find myself still doing this. I try and not have anything to drink near me and I do pretty good. Anyone else struggle with this and how did you overcome this. Also, its hard to wait for 1.5 hrs after to drink. Any suggestions welcomed. I will be having the sleeve in Jan 2013. Making the date in Dec.

Thank you for your time :)

I think my NUT is a NUT! (:

I'm almost 6 weeks post-op. I quit drinking 15 minutes before and then wait 15-30 minutes after, depending on what I've had to eat.

Yeah I think with everyones input I will do the 30 min before and start small with 10 min and then work my way up to 30 min afterwards. I have 2.5 months to get it up to 30-45 after. The before is not too much of a worry

The point of doing this is to ensure you get enough nutrients, so u will not hve to go back to hospital and hve complications. Our nut says 30-20-30 which means no water 30 b4 meals, 20 mintues to eat meal, and no water 30 min. Remember u hve to commit to the process no matter how hard, but we ate all here for u. You can do this.
