New Iphone App

I just found an app for diet shakes. You put in an ingredient for example and it tells you how to make it and what other ingredients are needed. It says "add V-powder" but I'm sure we can replace whatever that is with protein powder. Tons of different concoctions!!

I just looked at several of the recipes and overall they look like good guidelines to me. Depending on where you are post-op, you may want to watch the amount of fruit some of the recipes call for.

Interesting! What is the app?

It's called "Diet Shakes". Wondering if any post-ops could tell me if the ingredients in the shakes are good for us, I'm still pre-op. again, I'm think the "shake powder" can be replaced with protein powder. Please let us know where it's a keeper app or should be deleted. Thanks!!

I just looked at several of the recipes and overall they look like good guidelines to me. Depending on where you are post-op, you may want to watch the amount of fruit some of the recipes call for. Maybe in some cases you could cut back on the fruit and use a Torani (or similar brand) sugar-free syrup. I have 6 flavors of those now and use them in shakes and add to my 1/2 cup of coffee with 1/2 cup fat free milk that I "treat" myself to every other day or so. Yummy!

I love Visalus! It has been the only thing that has helped me get my protein in. Gives me energy which I so need these days. If you have any questions just let me know. I even promote it htt://mistywalling.bodybyvi.com
