Nsv - For Those Who Sew

I spent yesterday rearranging my sewing space and I finally decided that I can sew some clothes for me again. I pulled my sewing dummy out of the closet and realized I haven't changed her measurements to match mine in quite some time. Imagine my disappointment that my sewing dummy is now BIGGER than me, even at her smallest settings.

I can quilt, I can make curtains, and I can make just about anything BUT clothes... I think I am going to add that to my bucket list...

Yeah, Debs! It's a horrible feeling to be smaller than my Dummy. I guess I should call her by name, Violet. :) She served me well.

I love to sew and had a business at one point, until 9-11 happened and it wall went downhill from there. I had the same maniquin, but sold it becuase you cannot put pins in it...and so I hardly used it. Instead, I just know my own body size and try things on often...gets the job done well.
