Three More Months....

I got the call from my surgeons office today that my insurance said I have to complete the six month diet plan... This blows my mind because I have called three seperate times, talked to three different people and asked specifically if my coverage required the six month plan. Each time the answer was no, I have confirmation numbers from the calls so I was thinking I may call them and ask what's going on and why I was given misinformation. I need to have my gallbladder removed and was planning to have it out at the same time as my surgery, and now I may have waited all this time and suffered to avoid the two surgeries only to be told sorry you now have to do two. Such a bummer. Any suggestions?

Have you already been on a diet recently? sometimes If your PCP confirms that you were on a diet while seeing him they might count that time towards the 6 months. Its worth a try. and i would definitely call and give them hell.

I have been on a diet with my pcp monitoring for about a year, but I didn't see him every month so as far as I understand it won't count as it wasn't consecutive but I will heed your advice and give em hell!!
