Help! Exercising Made Me Gain Weight?!

I'm 3 months post op. and I didn't exercise or anything, cause I didn't have any time... but the weight just kept going down and was so happy....I have 2 girls who are a handful.... so a week go school started and I have a few hours to myself in the early morning, so I thought why not boost my weight decrease and exercise every morning... so I started 2 days ago....walked or should I say marched. for an hour.... and today I get on the scale and I gained 2 lbs.!!!! is this for real???? Sitting around like a bum all day makes me lose about 50 lbs and when I start doing the right thing and exercising, I start gaining!!!! WTF?????

When I started working out with a personal trainer, he told me that I would gain weight because I was building muscle. he was totally right, I did gain a couple of pounds. It's no big deal, the muscles that are gaining will help you lose your excess weight faster. Keep it up. :)
