1St F/u Appt - Sleeved On 9/5

So I had my first follow-up appointment yesterday with my surgeon since being sleeved on 9/5. I feeling pretty good so far and he said I'm having a picture perfect recovery. I was shocked, though very excited, to learn that I've lost 18.5 pounds since my surgery just over a week ago. I've been cleared to move on to the next stage of my diet to pureed foods. I'll be on that for 3 weeks before I graduate to soft solids. I'm not looking forward to the next 3 weeks of trying to come up with things to eat that satisfy me, but I am looking forward to continuing to see the positive results of getting my VSG. :D

Awesome job!

Congrats that's awesome! Don't sweat the next food phase if you are like most food will become less and less important as far as taste ,variety and enjoyability. It's just fuel, if it tastes good whoopie ! Bonus!
