Pre-Op Diet

Just started my pre-op diet, like Adkins. Found that my sugars are running high without eating carbs. Anyone else run into this?

Sugars doing better once I worked on my Basel settings. I still feel like I'm eating like a pig. Eating more healthy but munching a lot.

Hubby and I went out to eat today and I did really good, had to re arrange the menu but the waitress was really good to help me. Although she put croutons on my salad. Lol. No, I didn't eat them.

Docs office called today, he wants an upper GI and a gastric emptying test done, better safe than sorry.

Heading to Disney in Florida next week, I sure hope it's easier than I'm anticipating. Stay tuned

I go to Disney World in Florida the First week of December with my mom. The next week is my First week in the new Quarter of school. Then my surgery on December 18th.

They were pretty good at sticking to my pre diet, but I had to have fruited yogurt. Hard to find Turkey bacon. But all the walking seemed to burn it off. Didn't help that it was "food and Wine time". I'm happy to say, I had no fattening junk food, but I sure would have loved some ice cream. Lol

Let me know if you need restaurant help!
