Upper GI

I had my upper GI this morning and it wasn't too bad although I have some pretty bad gas pains now. Is this similar to the gas pains I hear people talk about after lap-band surgery or are they worse?

Thanks!!

I had an EGD with small biopsy, and I swear the gas pains were worse for that than they were for the surgery!!!!

I had an EGD and an upper G.I. in the same day - I didn't have gas pains. The only REAL pain that I had was that after jumping through all the hoops to get insurance coverage for the band, it turns out that I have a condition that disqualifies me from having the surgery. :)
