Different Protein Shakes?

Hi all!

I find myself snacking a lot, so I'm sure that I am not getting enough Protein. That, and myfitnesspal tells me I'm not. I'm trying so hard, but I cannot stand the taste/smell of the whey anymore. I've tried the GNC soy powder and it's really gritty. Has anyone tried egg white powder, or know of anything that doesn't have a taste/grit? I'm using liquid egg whites now (the pasteurized ones), but there isn't enough protein in them, really. Help!

Yogurt has alot of Protein in it. Diet Jello has protein. I am using body fortress chocolate whey, if you use 2 scoops, you get 52 g protein. I make mine with almond milk (much more protein that reg. milk). It does has a lot of carbs, though. I only use a half scoop, because I like to eat my protein rather than drink it. I am sure that will change post-surgery.

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
