Hello, has anyone had to get a IVC placed prior to surgery? If so, how was it?

Simple little groin stick , a little flush feeling from the contrast , and before u know it procedure is done! No I do not have one but I am part of the crew who places them daily lol. U won't know u have it in!!! Are they putting in a permanent one or a removable???

Thanks for the info, they are puttung a temp one. I'm just nervous. I work at a hospital and I know they put them in all the time, but now i'm on the other side of the coin!!
