I have gastritis - not the h. Pylori kind - mine is from eating wrong (surprise surprise) and taking too many Aleves, etc. Has anyone had complications with having the sleeve done while having gastritis? I searched the forumns but didn't find anything on this specific issue. Read posts where they developed it later but none prior to surgery.

I was put on a ppi after my endoscopy due to gastritis/irregular z-line/etc. I had no complications right after surgery and the ones I did had nothing to with it, they just kept me on the ppi after due to the results right after surgery

My nutritionist, who also goes over the lab reports at the surgeon's office, said he has not seen ANYONE that didn't have at least mild gastritis on their EGD report.
