Query about eating and headache...

Hey fellow Canucks!

:canada: :canada:

I thought I'd turn to ya for a question I have. This is mainly directed at those who are already banded and have been eating "regular food" for awhile now.

So, here is the thing....I've noticed that every time (for the last couple of weeks) when I eat dinner (this doesn't happen at breaky or lunch; just dinner)....I get a headache when I'm about half way done. Just out of the blue...WHAM...headache. Nothing severe; just irritating. Doesn't matter what I have for dinner....it seems to happen. It goes away after a bit and it doesn't get bad enough to take something for it or anything. I just find it odd and am wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

Comments?

By the way...y'all are doing awesome!!! :clap2: :clap2:

Hi, Nanabana here. Maybe you are having allergic reations to your foodsmor liquids. I'm highly allergic to Nutra Sweet. It's also called aspertaine (spelling?). I can get splitting migraine with it. There could also be some allergies that you have. Good luck with finding out the problem. nana

Interesting.

and yes... Yoda, it goes well with my kinky Little Bo' Peep costume. :omg: Booyah!

Dan should consider himself a lucky man!

The vagus nerve arises in the cranium and makes a long pathway to many internal organs....and there is a proposed anatomical model describing antidromal nerve signal traveling along back it's course, to carry noxious stimuli we perceive just as you describe.

That may not be your actual 'stop eating' because you have had enough, rather, it may be because of the altered physical configuration of the stomach and pouch, which stimulates the vagus in an unusual manner, which eventually our CPU brain figures out how to interpret.

Vagal nerve irritation can and does produce a wide variety of symptoms from head aches to a dozen others....

Don't get me started, I'm not ready to get into another rant about nerve function...yet....

About the same. Nothing to be concerned about...just odd.

I'm beginning to not even notice them since they are so common place now! LOL

That sucks! Do you think it could be allergy related. I know this time of year I am sensitive to just about everything. Weird things happen to me. Ya, Ya, give me your best shot.

Now, maybe I'm wrong, sometimes I'm not very observant, but has your ticker gone down lately, I coulda swore you were at around 43-45 lbs down, no? Your only 2 pounds away from fifty....WOW!!
