Hi Everyone my name is Zena,

I just read an article this am. about Laparoscopic banding and found it to extremely interesting, up to now all I knew about was the gastric by-pass and all the horrors of it!

I am morbidly obese & of course have some health problems, duh! I would like to take away the pain/weight and think this may be the way to start. Any feed back will be gratefully accepted.

Wecome to LBT! I was in your shoes in February (had never heard of Lap Band). Now here I am 7 months later, banded for 4 months and 60 pounds gone for good.

This is a great website to get informed about the lap band. Keep researching and good luck!

Hi Zena!! welcome to LBT. After coming on LBT and reading about the band and about how well the band has help so many, and seeing all of the pictures on this site, I could'nt go on without the band. I am now 5 1/2 weeks out and do very well. After two weeks I was feeling like my old self. Good luck to you.
