Does Anyone Drink Kefir Post Op?

Hello... my surgery is in a few weeks, and I was curious if Kefir is allowed. For those that don't know, its a drinkable yogurt..just a little thicker. It has protein in it, but I know there are carbs and sugar in it. Just thought it sounded good for post op... any thoughts?
