No Preapproval Needed

It is confirmed. Since we are stationed abroad, no preapproval needed. I just have to follow the BCBS/Federal guidelines to a T.

    Thank you. I consider myself very lucky. I know people that have been denied. I cannot imagen after going through the decision making process.

    All of that is still required. I still have to complete all the mandatory BCBS requirements. I can't just go and have surgery. They still require the proper documentation. If I don't have that, they don't have to pay. I just don't have to send it all in prior to the surgery for approval. Thank you for your advice...this is 15 years in the making ;-)
