Black Bean Soup

For those on full/thick liquids here is a healthy treat

8 oz chicken broth (I used low sodium)

1/2 can low sodium black Beans

1 tsp freshly chopped tomatoes (can omit I just thought it would add some kick to it)

I used the Magic Bullet. I then heated it in a pot but pretty sure it would have still been good room temp.

It is very liquidy and it went down fine only a few rumbles because my sleeve is used to Bariatric Advantage shakes.

I was full on 4oz. I am 11 days post op.

yum! I love black bean soup. I will definitely be trying this one out!

Thanks a lot. This sounds great and plain old chicken broth is getting boring as all out. I'm having trouble with spice and herbs since my procedure. This sounds like a healthy/happy medium. I may try adding a little bit of cilantro though....

LOL...I did add a leaf or two of cilantro but didn't know if it would have made a difference. It is sooo tasty. I didn't need to add any seasonings.

Enjoy!
