Does anyone know at what point you can add ab exercises? I'am 9 weeks out and I have heard you have to wait 6mths, but that seems like a long time.

Noooooooo. I do not believe you have to wait six months unless your doctor specifically told you to. I was cleared at 6 weeks for full activity. No limitations were placed or exceptions to that. He did say, "if it hurts, don't do it." Other than that....... I've been doing some ab stuff for a couple months now.

I started situps and leg lifts at 6 weeks. My doc said the same thing....if it hurts, don't do it.
