I am new to lapband talk and I been reading this site for a few weeks now, and what everyone had to say, it's help me alot to think about what I need to do after the surgery and what foods are good to eat after wards. So now I think i am ready to make this Journey to a new life. I am glad to know I have a place to come to if I have any questions or concerns after i have this done wish me luck I get banned on September 1, 2006 Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Hi Texas Brat, my surgery date is Friday (9-8-06) at 10AM. I am a little nervous, but i feel this is the only way to get my weight down and get me healthy. Praying for a speedy recovery for you.

My daughter was banded 9/1. What does BP'd mean? I hear this alot

Hello everyone, I had my surgery and am home now. All went well a little problem with the gas thing but other than that I feel good. Just thought I would stop in and say hello. I am still a little tired and so I shall go and rest. Talk to you all later.

hi Val Glad you are doing ok. i am now 11 days in to it now and i am doing great.. NO gas at all now.. when i have gas i burp.. lol. other then that Hope u are feeling good. and good luck. to your new life..

havent been banned yet I have my a doctors appointment on Thursday with PCP and I hope she give the go ahead! Please be praying for me I would love to have this surgery done before the end of the year.
