  • Sleeved 06/05, what a difference a week makes! I would say that I made a bit of progress each day. Probably still not getting in all required fluids, but seem to sip, sip, sip as much as I can.

Hello Fellow Sleevers,

I was sleeved exactly one month ago on June 13th. I was one of the fortunate ones because this whole process has been a breeze. I have lost a total of 50 lbs so far. I lost 25 lbs on my two month pre op diet, and the other 25 lbs since my surgery. I have been very happy with the results. I was lucky because I have not been sick at all. I was weak and tired for the first couple of weeks, but when I started eating foods on week three, I felt normal again. I never did suffer with nausea to speak of. Maybe a little queesy here or there, but it went away very shortly thereafter. I can take my fish oil pills, and can at a whole cup of pinapple and cottage cheese. I have had no problem getting in my protein, and liquids. I love this sleeve. I recommend it for anyone who is desparate to lose weight, and is morbidly obese. It is a radical change, but its worth it to save your life and quality of life. I felt almost no pain after surgery either. May mild cramps for a week or two, off and on. I had pills for that, but only took for the first week.. I honesty could have done without them altogether. I'm so happy to be sleeved!
