Dr. Nicholson On June 5Th

Are you having surgery on June 5th at Forest Park with Dr. Nicholson. There are three of us - kstalvey, txdee and me who are. If you are, let us know. It would be nice to have each other as support.

I'm 4 weeks post op tomorrow and also see Dr Nick! Had my surgery at Forest Park (fabulous experience from start to finish). They were amazing!!

April -

Starting weight - 256

4 weeks post op - 223

2nd week soft foods

I was done by Dr. Nick on May 21st. I'm 9 days post op. I agree, Forest Park was really great, make sure you walk as soon as possible after the surgery. The nurses are nazi's about it but its good for you, you'll thank them when you only need to spend one night in the hospital. Oh yeah, I've lost 40 lbs since starting the pre-op diet. 17 since the surgery. I have a lot left to lose...

I apologize for the delayed response - I forget to log on here! Congrats on your surgery! How are you feeling? I am 7 weeks post op today; down 41 lbs and feel better every day. I was recently released for solid foods and it has been quite an experience these past few days! I remember the dietician say during my pre-op class, "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!"
