band slipped/removed

hi,

i was banded last oct. and was tight most of the time.

i was banded here in the u.s.

my band was a 10.75 band (4 cc capacity).

i was not even able to handle .5 cc.

my band slipped this month and was removed.

i would like to be rebanded.

i read somewhere that a woman had a VAN GUARD band installed, as most of her weight is in her tummy.

i am about 5'3" and 195 pounds now, and most all of my weight is still in my tummy.

also my previous surgeon did not remove my fat pad.

i wonder if i need the vanguard band and the fat pad removed.

what do you think?

also if i have my surgery in mx. i would like to know if anyone out there knows of fill centers in cal?:)

much thanks,

lexi

Lexi, I'm sorry about your band. If there is a lesson to be learned from others, wht would you tell people with too tight bands? Is there a reason you stayed too tight for a year?
