Protein Bars

Hi all,

Can you please share with me what is your favorite brand of Protein Bar and how many gms of Protein in one bar? And also the flavors that you enjoy most.

I'm growing sick of my Protein Shake and would like to try the bars.

Thanks!

Edit:

I want to try the Oh Yeah bars - the only brand that was mentioned on our forums that I could find in India. Do you guys know how many bars are there in a pack?

I too like Quest bars. You can order them on netrition.com - one at a time to try different flavors.

Atkins Protein Bars & Health Wise are sooo good. I buy the Health Wise at my surgeons office ( Chocolate Caramel Crunch). Atkins Chocolate Chip Granola & Peanut Butter Granola bars are great...

The problem is, I live in India, and I can only order stuff from ebay India or other sites that ship stuff to India. So I have a limited choice. Thankfully, Atkins, Oh Yeah, Quest and Thinkthin are listed on ebay India, so I'm going to try those first! :)

The other items listed are: Muscle Milk High Protein chocolate PB, Next Proteins Protein Bar, Special K Protein Snack Bar, EAS Myoplex Lite Bars, Pure Protein S'mores, Power Crunch High Protein Energy snack, Supreme Protein bar, Luna Protein Chocolate PB, Met-Rx Protein plus Protein Bar chocolate fudge, Optimum nutrition complete diet protein bar, P90X Peak Performance Protein Bars, NuGo organic protein bar, 2:1 protein bar.

Have any of you tried any bars on that list? Some are quite costly, and I dont have the option of buying sample packs. So I would like to try and avoid the bad-tasting ones.

I like Quest bars too -- they are very high in protein, and even my nutritionist said they are the best bars in ingredients she has seen ... I especially like the chocolate peanut butter and the chocolate brownie ones ... also the peanut butter & jellie ones ... when I want to switch it up, I sometimes get Balance Bars too -- the honey yogurt bars are pretty good and they have, I think, 15 or 16g or protein per bar -- but the Quest ones are nutritionally better for you I think! Good luck!

I have tried a couple of the Oh Yeah bars and they are pretty good

I found ThinkThin bars too. I am HARD to impress with the taste of these bars, and I love them. Had a ThinkThin crunch bar for breakfast this morning. Some of them, unfortunately, are pretty high in fat and calories, because of the nuts. One had 20 grams of protein though. 190 calories, 12 g fat.
