Ell I have finished all my pre surgery visits and paperwork, whew that was a lot of stuff to get done .. Now I am waiting for the psychological evaluation to be sent to the surgical center office and then insurance approval. I am getting nervous now that it's almost here ! Is that normal ? 1. I'm scared of something happening during a elective procedure and then feeling guilty about it or worse leaving my family behind. 2. I am scared they are gonna refuse to do surgery or my insurance won't cover it . OR I won't be able to afford all the up front fees lake Norman regional medical center is probably gonna require.... I wish i wasn't such a doggone worry wart

Yes, it is totally normal to worry about this stuff. The way I handled it was, I just did it. Kept myself busy up until the AM of the surgery. Then I was kinda freaking out and wanting to run away. But I didn't. I had the procedure and have had no complications from the surgery. This is the best decision I could of made for myself.
