Protein Drink Question

Ok so I went online and ordered from MyBariatricPantry.com I bought their sample pack and the drinks are pretty good, for protein drinks that is. However, are the protein drinks supposed to be mostly clear and very thin??? I know its a liquid diet I was just wondering because the other protein shakes I have are much thicker. Am I doing this right?

You know, different surgeons have different "rules" for their diet plans. Are you in the pre-op phase? In my pre-op diet I could have carnation instant Breakfast (very liquidy, but definitely not clear) or Bariatrix Protein shakes (which are pretty thick).

For my surgeon, the only time I had to do "clear liquids" (as opposed to "full liquids" like shakes) was the day before surgery, and then a week after surgery.

When i was in the pre opp phase. I was the problem child i could not drink the protien shakes the suggested. Still cant i start to gag So they suggested slimfast. As long as it was a Meal Replacement So i had those before you can find coupons for them as well and i would get them at wallgreens vecause the gave coupons for them when you purchased them as well.

Now 4 months out still cant drink the protien shakes tried alot of them. Even no taste powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury. I drink a slimfast for breakfast and muskle milk for a snack.

Hope that helps.
