Setbacks

Im having my surgery on 4/23. So I assumed everything was done and dandy.

I get a call the OR booked the wrong person for the surgery..took allday to get that sorted out. I then get another call saying I had to see the hospital dietitian before surgery. Of course there were no appointments available till mid may so I had to bed myself in and got an appointment at 9:30am the day before surgery.

Then comes another call saying I wasn't tested for h.pylori with my endoscopy so I had to rush and get a breath test for it.

I get everything together and im finally getting a sense that im done and then my brother comes home with a horrible cold which im bound to get. I haven't eaten food in 4 days (liquid pre op diet ) and Im at my wits end..

did anyone else have this hard of a time less then a week before surgery?

My surgery is on the 30th and I had a horrible cold with lots of phlems and runny nose... I'm so afraid that they pospone my surgery because of this
