Preop And Fatigue?

I was hoping all this protein was going to make me energized. I had planned on spring cleaning the house and getting things set for coming home from hospital after surgery 4/23. However, I am tired and cranky. I don't feel like doing anything. Any suggestions or experiences?

I have not had my preop yet but I heard from many people here and on YouTube that vitamin B12 shots help that feeling a lot! (the under the tongue ones should work well too). Make sure you are taking musty vitamins and such. I think the fatigue is normal since your body is used to running on sugars but now is having to convert protein to fuel so it takes some adjustment. You might also want to consult your surgeon and /or dietitian. Good luck and congrats on your upcoming surgery!
