Got A Date!

My surgeons office called me yesterday afternoon and gave me a date as the date I originially wanted I wont be able to get. So I will be sleeved April 9th. I am just worried now about driving. We have small children and so my husband will have to do all the dropping of and picking up from school while I am in hospital. How soon were some of you able to drive after surgery? Luckily no pre-op diet but I believe I am going to put myself on one just to wrap my obese brain around the upcominf changes so I will try for 7 days out????? And the nervous wait.......begins

Congrats on your date!!

My surgeon said no driving for 2 weeks due to pain killers and being able to use your legs and turn without pulling anything. If you aren't taking the pain killers and don't have any pulling issues you could probably do it sooner.

I have seen alot of posts where others have driven sooner then the 2 weeks.

What has your doctor said?
