Preop Jitters

My surgery is 10 days from now and I'm having a serious case of the jitters! My rational mind says keep going for it but after hearing the plastic surgeon speak today at my support grp, I came home crazy and full of doubts. Although I cannot predict the future, I figure at my age (54 in a month) and the amt of wt I want to lose (100#), I will need at least 5 cosmetic surgeries???? to look the way I want to look afterwards. I am not gonna cancel my surgery by no means, but I feel extra scared today. Any advice or bits of wisdom anyone?

Well, I was 55 years old when I had my surgery. I figure that if I have baggy extra skin, then so be it! I can hide it under my cloths or I can save up and get plastic surgery to have it removed. I will be much more healthy and happier with my body which adds more confidence to my character. Go for it, and don't fret the skin stuff. Don't let it stop you either. Looking forward to seeing you on the BIG LOSER'S BENCH! I'm saving a seat for you.... ;)
