Questions, Questions, Questions!

What should I expect to happen on my 1st visit? I was told to fill out the paperwork and submit them along with my insurance card and id. I received a call informing me that my insurance will pay as long as I had a BMI of 40 and I had no prereqs.

On my first visit with the surgeon, I had a lot of questions asked from the nurse. Most of them were about pre-existing health conditions. We talked about family history concerning health, and we talked about joint pain, and all sorts of things I may have or may not have. Then when the surgeon came in, he talked to me about what I should and shouldn't eat, and we discussed what surgery would be right for me. I initially wanted the gastric bypass, but since I still want kids someday, he said the sleeve would be right for me.
