Checking In - Celebrating Egg Drop Soup!

Today was a great day. Surgery + 7 days. Yeah! It was my first day out of the house since coming home after my sleeve surgery and the sun felt really good on my face.

I went to my surgeon's office to get my drain removed and was very happy to see that my weight is back to the level it was right before my operation. One year ago I was weighing +320 lbs. I clocked in today at 248. I was 247 on the day of surgery. I guess everyone gains a pound or two after the proceedure is done since they pump you full of fluids with the Meds that you get on the hospital. I will see my surgeon next week for my first visit with him since the proceedure.

It is time to really get engaged with the exercise. My doctor is a strict about diet and exercise. I am now able to add egg drop Soup to my Clear liquids w/protein diet and walking 15- 30 minutes 5 times a week. I am committed to following the plan, but clear liquids and protien is really getting b-o-r-i-n-g. I know it will be worth it and I really enjoy the conversation with everyone would is also on this journey.

Have a great evening everyone!
