Hi All - I am a newbie here. As I wander around and like some of the entries, blogs, etc., and then want to follow that person or find out more, is clicking to make them a friend okay to do and/or the best way to follow? Thanks - Joni

Hello, you can friend them - that is the first step, yes. You can also check your Notifications settings, which is in the User Menu -> My Settings, then click the "Notifications" area on the left hand side.

You will see options for following friends - and you can select to be notified by e-mail when they post, etc.
