Pre-Op Diet...

I start my two week pre-op diet today--don't know how I am going to handle this!!! I will be replacing 2 meals with shakes and one meal of lean meat and green vegetables---being how I DONT like any vegetables--I think I may starve!!!!! I may be one unpleasant person to be around for the next 2 weeks!!!!!!

I am waiting for my surgery date and the 2-week liquid preop diet is the scariest thing to me of all! My husband did it a year ago, and he had his hard moments but made it through. When I think about the fact the surgeon will be able to tell whether you complied or not makes it a little easier to stick to it too I think!! I wish you the best of luck and hope it flies by for you. Joni
