8 Months Out

  • Popular Post

Just a quick update....

I am now 8 months post op and I am down 115lbs! I went from a size 4x top and 26/28 pants down to a large top and size 12 pants! And actually at work I fit into medium scrubs!!! I feel as though I've been given a second chance at life! I'm going through a divorce (and please no I'm sorry's it's the best thing to happen to me since this surgery) and I give all of my newfound self esteem and courage to my sleeve! It helped me find myself! And the best part is...I get to experience dating after my divorce is final!!! Lol

Keep it up everyone!! PM me if you have any questions!!!!

Thanks everyone! As for the excess skin, it's not as bad as I thought it was gonna be! My arms and boobs are probably the worst of it! I hide it with spanx and tummy tuck tank tops pretty well! Oh and

This is such an amazing transformation!! Congrats to you,I am 6 weeks out and this is a real inspiration to me!!!! I am curious to know what a day's meals consist of for you. ((HUGS)) You should be so proud of yourself!

Hi There,

I am new here and was inspired by this post! I am almost 5 weeks post-op but am a little worried aboutmy results. Have only lost 16 or so pounds and do not have much of a feeling of restriction when I eat. Can you give me an idea of what you eat in the run of a day in order to have lost that much weight? I started at 319 pre-surgery, down from 360 last summer. I'm what everyone considers to be a very attractive "big woman" yet after my divorce, 8 years ago, I have never been asked out on a date. Still single and wanting so bad to move on. I felt like my sleeve would help that happen for me but it seems to be slow going compared to most. I don't seem to have any post-op problems- I can eat and drink together, I can eat 5 oz of fish or other things no problem when I hear most hurt after 2 oz. Can you let me know what your food day looks like? Are you working out? I joined the gym yesterday as I think I am ready for some exercise now, a little over 4 weeks post-op. Thanks!

You look fantastic Kaitlynn! I bet you feel wonderful as well! Congrats!
