  1. I don't seem to have any trouble eating and drinking at that same time. I am only 5 weeks post-op but have never had any issues with restriction either...
  2. Hi There, I'm new here as of today and am loving reading about everyone's experience. I had my surgery on January 30/12. A 42 FR Bougie was used on me but I am a little concerned because the results are not what I expected. I was 360 starting off and lost 41 before surgery. 319 onsurgery day and now, almost 5 weeks post-op am still 303. Only 16 pounds gone in almost 5 weeks. Staying between 600-800 calories per day for the most part so am very surprised. I do not feel much restriction at all- no trouble eating or drinking or doing both together... can eat 5 or 6 oz fish no trouble... I don't feel like this is normal and am waiting for pain or nausea.. haven't had any. Eating mostly soft foods still, but when I read, it seems like most loose at least 30 in the first month.. I'm off to a very slow start:(
  3. Hi There, I am new here and was inspired by this post! I am almost 5 weeks post-op but am a little worried aboutmy results. Have only lost 16 or so pounds and do not have much of a feeling of restriction when I eat. Can you give me an idea of what you eat in the run of a day in order to have lost that much weight? I started at 319 pre-surgery, down from 360 last summer. I'm what everyone considers to be a very attractive "big woman" yet after my divorce, 8 years ago, I have never been asked out on a date. Still single and wanting so bad to move on. I felt like my sleeve would help that happen for me but it seems to be slow going compared to most. I don't seem to have any post-op problems- I can eat and drink together, I can eat 5 oz of fish or other things no problem when I hear most hurt after 2 oz. Can you let me know what your food day looks like? Are you working out? I joined the gym yesterday as I think I am ready for some exercise now, a little over 4 weeks post-op. Thanks!
