A Funny

I am 6 weeks post-op, and on mushies until I see my surgeon on February 2nd.

Yesterday, there was a shocking and totally unexpected leadership shake-up at work. I was in a stupor all day.

One of my friends asked me, "Would you like a Diet Dr. Pepper or a Diet Pepsi?"

"I can't have soda."

"Well, how about iced tea?"

"I can't have caffeine, either."

"Lasagna?"

She was intent on trying to cheer me up. By the end of the conversation, we both had a good laugh, which helped me get through the day.

Laughter is always the best medicine. ;)

That's awesome. Just goes to show how food symbolizes comfort!

That is funny - glad you found the humour in an upsetting situation.

Hope things settle down at the office and your sleeve journey continues to go well.
