Sick

:sick Hello!

I have a nasty case of GI sickness not sure if it was something I ate or a bug of some sort.

Anything I should be aware of with this?

I have diarrhea and thankfully no vomiting. ( Which is good because then I'd be afraid with vomiting, slippage of my band. )

Let me know and thanks for your help!

Schel

Remember the word "B.R.A.T.".....

B= Bananas

R= Rice it can also mean chicken noodle Soup and mashed potatoes

A= Applesauce

T = Toast or crackers

These things firm up the stool...no juice or milk (make diarrhea worse) --try gatorade or Powerade for electrolytes.

Hope your feeling better!!

God Bless,

Melody

Hi Schel,

Sorry to hear you are feeling yucky.

Ive had a stomach bug a couple of times during my banded career.

Like you, I had diarrhea - no vomiting (extreme nausea though).

The only thing I could tolerate was warm/hot chicken broth * sip sip away * and pop sickles.

...Oh, and lots of rest and sleep.

Hope you feel better soon.
