:help: Well, it’s been almost 4 weeks and I need a fill!! :) I can eat anything and just as much as I could eat before. I know the band is empty right now but do I really need to wait 2 more weeks?? :rolleyes I was hoping to go down Thursday.

I know exactly what you mean. It has been 3 and half weeks and I can eat just as much of whatever before as before the band. What's up with that??????? I'm so discouraged and hungry for goodness sakes.

I hope you guys have better luck than me on your first fill. I had my first on June 13 and it doesn't feel any different than before the fill. I'm not starving, but I'm sure I could eat more (I just dont let myself). At my last support meeting, I spoke to a few bandsters who lost about 80-90 pounds in the first year, but they did tell me that it took them about 3 fills before they felt good restriction. They also told me that after the 3rd fill, the weight loss starting coming easier. I guess everyone is different. I cant wait till my next fill!! Good luck to you!

It just depends on your doctor. Give him/her a call. Mine begins giving fills after the 4th week.

My doctor had me scheduled for a fill at 4 weeks, Dr. Curry, he is so sweet, but I called today and got it for 5 weeks and one day. I'm 2 weeks postop today and have lost 21 pounds. I weighed this morning and had lost 3 more but I still thank the lord have plenty of restriction. I can only eat 1/2 cup 3 times a day and thats it. It scares me because I am afraid when it stops it will stop and I'll have a hard time. I guess time will tell.
