It seems that the few posts I could find about Dr. Ortiz were older. I am hoping to hear from anyone out there who has had a Vertical Sleeve done by Dr. Ortiz in Mexico.

I am considering scheduling with him.

I has a VSG revision from band done on 11/21 with Dr Ortiz. Everything went fine. I didnt see much of Dr Ortiz after the surgery, but was in good hands with Dr Martinez. The nurses didnt speak English but I had no problems communicating my needs. They were very friendly. I also enjoyed the Nutritionist, Dr Miranda. I felt like I was in good hands throughout my entire stay.

 

The Marriot Hotel has chicken broth on the menu and was aware of the OCC program.
