Where do those reputation points come from?

I see who the top point holders are, but I don't get where the points are coming from . What is the reason for this anyway?

      I think people can "like" the post or in the past give a + or a - when you feel like its a great post or great advice you can "like it" etc.

      Agreed. And on a mobile version I don't see a like button, red or green button, etc.

    there used to be a + and - in green and red in the lower right corner of each post. not sure now - maybe the like button?
